Aries Travels Lupon, Davao Oriental | A short yet memorable experience

What better way to spend your free time than in a quiet setting with the calming sound of the waves and the stress-relieving beauty of the nature with some of your favorite people in the world?

In this blog, I will take you to the Sleeping Dinosaur of Mati, Davao Oriental and one of the most beautiful fine white sand beaches in Lupon with the most beautiful people that I have known for several years.

This happened in 2019, before the pandemic changed some people's lives. I am one of those people.

To escape the busy and noisy city life, my coworkers and friends decided to unwind in one of the beautiful places to visit in Davao Oriental, Mati and Lupon where we got to experience one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been.

From Davao City, it will take you 2 hours and 20 minutes to reach the sleeping dinosaur of Mati by a private car. Thanks to my friend's boyfriend, we reached the beautiful place safe and sound.

This escapade brought us to the stunning Sleeping Dinosaur in Mati, Davao Oriental (As you can see behind us. This was taken using an old mobile phone when wide lens was yet to be introduced). The scenery from the top of this magnificent mountain range was absolutely breathtaking. The clear blue skies, the lush foliage, and the serene waters below made it a truly unforgettable experience.

Next we went to Lupon, Davao Oriental where one of my friend's family lives. We rested for a while and prepared for our next destination, Dahican beach.

Our next trip brought us to a secret paradise in the Philippines – Dahican Beach. A beach so beautiful, it was like walking into a postcard. 

The waves caressed the soft, white sand with gentle secrets. 

The turquoise water, shining in the midday sun, was incredibly clear.

We relaxed for hours, watching the troubles of the world wash away with the ocean. It was heaven, a fleeting moment of total peace surrounded by the beauty of nature.

These what dreams of travel are made of – a reminder to slow down, breathe in deeply, and cherish the simple things. If you need an escape, a destination to renew and reconnect, Mati's Sleeping Dinosaur and Lupon's Dahican Beach is a must-visit for anyone who loves nature! Highly recommend!
